Our Story

A little piece of Kathmandu in Gungahlin

Canberra Momo House started with a simple idea: bring the food we grew up with — plump Nepalese momos, simmered in spiced broths, shared at a crowded family table — to our home here in Canberra.

Every momo is made fresh to order. Every jhol simmers slowly, the way it's meant to. We're a small, family-run kitchen, and we treat every guest like they've walked into ours.
